3 slices Ginger Root
12 leaves Mint
1/2 shot Lime Juice
1/2 shot Simple Syrup
Ginger Ale
1 pack of dried sorrel
3 cups (24 ounces) water
2 small limes (about 4 tablespoons lime juice), plus lime rounds for garnish
Club Soda.
Honey Simple Syrup (2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons honey).

Something Sweet!?… Cocktails have a basic structure, we add the spirits, something sour, and something sweet then we build and create from there. Let’s talk about that something sweet. Syrups date back to the early settlers in Northern America and
LUCKILY for us, beaches are still open and bars have adapted to include “take-away” drink options. This makes for an epic combo for one of my favorite activities, day drinking. It is safe to say brunch without Bloody Marys’ isn’t complete. The cocktail which is a combination of vodka, hot sauce, tomato juice as well as other spices and flavorings including olives, celery salt, garlic, etc. is a popular staple at cocktail parties and Sunday brunches.
